Submitting digital photo files for Builder Architect publications

Cover and all full-page photos

• Cover must always be vertical full bleed. Horizontal images are not accepted.
• For cover composition see cover guidelines pdf.
• 8.5 x 11 inches at 300-350 DPI original pixels, or 2550 x 3300 pixels at 300-350 dpi.
• Approximately 40mb/cmyk or 30mb/RGB
• 8 bit

Inside photos for cover story or special features

• May be vertical or horizontal
• 8.5 x 5 up to 8.5 x 11 inches at 300-350 dpi original pixels, or 2550 x 1600 pixels at 300-350 dpi up to full-page specs mentioned above.
• Approximately 16mb/cmyk or 12mb/RGB
• 8 bit

Absolute minimum

• May be vertical or horizontal
• 4 inch width x fall at 300-350 dpi original pixels, or 1200 x 1553 pixels at 300-350 dpi.
• Approximately 8mb/cmyk or 6mb/RGB
• 8 bit
• Color space: cmyk
• File formats accepted: tif, jpg, eps, psd

File Upload Instructions

• Builder Architect Inland Empire/Coachella Valley Edition uses an FTP service by the name of yousendit.com. The service is FREE for files under 100MB. Only one file can be sent at one time.
• In order to send a large file, log in at: www.yousendit.com
• Fill out the requested information about your company
• Fill in the recipient's email address (my email address) adiaz@builderarchitectsocal.com
• Upload the file and send it to me
